On a serious note though this kind of shi* happens all the time. I wonder if this guy survived. Tyres travelling at that kind of speed, fack knows what could happen...

That's fairly old. You guys wouldn't think that was funny if that was you. Did you see the size of that tire? Could have easily killed that guy...

Yea, I usually enjoy that kind of thing but that looked quite painful! Is there actually any news on the guy?
(oh and Tee212, it's a Skoda not a VW... which makes you think it's justified a little) |

I'd be surprised if he wasn't. It will be nasty bruising at the very least. That tyre was going at some speed. There's a lot to be said for all round observation at all times!
Reminds me of a geeza I used to know when going say into a cafe he always tried to sit in the corner - he liked to know what was going on. I wish I taken his advice when some months ago I was in Nero's Cafe Bromley High Street when a large plate came thro' the bannisters of the balcony above and crashed to the floor by my side. I was very lucky! |

Truck wheel running at that speed would have a huge amount of kinetic energy - broken bones and trauma to internal organs at the very least.
Have any of you manhandled a truck wheel & tyre combination? So heavy you often need a lift to get them onto the axle spigots.

No, don't find it funny at all and nor is it so trying to be clever by claiming you find it funny.

firstly its a skoda, not VW. Also I saw that years ago. I too hope the guy was ok, or at least made a full recovery. He deffo would have broken legs, just hope he didnt smack his head to hard on the concrete floor.
