Cameras used on cars?

Hey guys, I was looking at some of the amazing pictures in the "beautiful picture thread"

and was wondering what camera you guys use? Im about to get a new camera, and just want to know which cameras you guys think are great for shots like those. Everytime I take a picture of my car, it doesnt compare with the quality of your shots(focus, color, sharpness, ect)

Get a DSLR. I'm a Canon guy, but I'm sure Nikon are good also.

I use a Sony H5, around $400 just for the camera and like $40 more for a 1 gb memory stick..

canon eos 20d....but you can't go wrong with anything nikon/canon.

the new rebel Xti looks amazing, and is a hell of a deal.

Hey, I suggest buying the cheapest canon body possible.. Maybe the original rebel 300d... it seems here that everyone is more concern about the body over rather than the lens

... LENS FIRST! body last! trust me buying a 20d is not going to take better pictures than 300d if your lens are the same..

my setup is nikon 50d with 70-200 2.8 glass but I encourage you to go for canon because there "L" series lenses are BANGIN!!

Ok, thanks guys! Im thinking Ill go with a cannon and check out those L series lenses
