First time I've not missed it....

I have missed my 335i ever since I sold it in Sept. However this week is the first where I have been happy to be without it. Just attempted to walf my 5 yearold to school in foot deep snow. Got a call from my wife to say all schools closed so turned about and had the pleasure of helping to push an e92 330d that was stuck and blocking the road.

That said, the snow is too deep today even for the four wheel drive A4!!!

Stay safe out there folks. I'm now "working from home" so may go out and attempt to out-do my neighbours ten foot tall snowman......

It took me and my neighbour 1.5 hrs this morning to get the 330d off the drive. There is hardly a slope but the snow just kept compacting into sheet ice. At one point I was getting nearer and nearer the house rather than towards the road.

I've not touched the RX8 since last week as that's now pressed up against the house on a 45 degree angle having failed to get that off the drive. Again, just kept fishtailing and going the wrong way.

Crazy how bad these cars are in the snow. Each time I reach a junction with a bit of snow on I need to make sure I've got a run up just to get out.

My business partner's A4 just sails through the snow!!!

Don't get me wrong Roger, the A4 is MILES better with the quattro 4WD system. It has stopped snowing so we have spent the past hour and a half clearing the driveway. Hopefully thats the end of the snow!

Pics of aforementioned big snowman!

My business partners A4 is a FWD version & still miles better. The engine weight over the driven wheels giving it the edge of course.

Q: What's the difference between a snowman and a snowwoman?
A: Snowballs.
