I was never really a fan of Blackberrys. Seemed too complicated for me. I ended up getting a Samsung Rogue. Love it so far.

storm 1 sucked...2 prob does too but cant say for sure....the droid i played with for a while...seems like a great phone..seen good reviews for it...but i dont like how the buttons are flush...i like bberry's cause there space between the letters and i txt alot..so am quickest with my curve...

i went from a BB 8330 curve to a Droid Eris and couldnt be happier. The Tour is nice but I definitely wanted a touch screen and virtual keyboard. I played with the Storm 2 for a bit and wasnt too impressed. It definitely is better than the first Storm but lags a bit and the touch screen is a bit querky. I went with the Droid Eris because of the responsiveness of the keyboard was unmatched, even to the Motorola Droid.
I say just go to the Verizon store and play around with the phones for a while till you find one that you like.
Good luck!

Droid trumps the BB's. You get used to the keyboard

the htc droid is a bit slower though, my friend has it and she likes it but its weird some apps don't work on it and the when using the accelerometer its laggy compared the moto. Also there no flash on it which kinda sucks and it only has 8gigs. Although the recent software update for the motorola droid made the virtual keyboard similar to the htc droid.

Get the Droid since the storm was and still is a POS. They are our work phones and they're straight up impossible to hear anyone on when they call you from it. Voice quality sucks.

I have an iPhone, but I played with a Droid and it's pretty slick. That would be my non-iPhone choice.

Well guys thanks for the opinions spent about 2 hours in verizon today waiting in line and i had some time to play with all 4 phones

ended up going with the Droid Eris the droid just felt too big for a touchscreen, and im not a fan of the slide out keyboard used to the blackberry veritcal keyboard.....plus it still has a trackball

I got the Droid Eris a few weeks ago - and couldn't be happier. You made a good choice.

I just got the Droid (Motorola).

In the past three years, i've had a BB Bold, Nokia N95-3, Nokia N95-4, Nokia N97, HTC Touch Pro on Verizon, and tried the G1

Outside of maybe the N95-4, the Droid is the best phone i've ever had. It's THAT good.
