exhaust question

hey i changed the exhaust on my car to an aftermarket one then i switched it back to stock and my stock one now for some reason sounds a lil louder/deeper than it was before. I was thinking by changing the exhaust do i autmatically change something else (i.e. golf tee mod or that vacuum mod people talk about? or any other ideas why this might be so?

might just be your imagination...

but yes you could have disabled the butterfly valve in the exhaust that controls the noise...

It's on the drivers side at the rear bumper outlet for the exhaust. Under the car...
