BMW M Power Meter iPhone App [free]

FYI, I haven't tried it yet and have no idea how accurate it is.

http://www.bmw.com/com/en/newvehicle...9/g_meter.html

Quote:
Using integrated movement sensors it records the following performance data of your journeys in real time:

- Speed (mph / km/h)
- Forward acceleration (Forward g)
- Lateral acceleration (Lateral g)
- Travel time for a specified distance (e.g. 100 m)
- Acceleration to a specific speed (e.g. 0–100 km/h)

Get the BMW M Power Meter and start measuring your driving pleasure.
Available free of charge from the Apple App Store.
To use, the iPhone needs to be either upright or laid flat, in the direction of travel. I have an Arkon Vent Mount for iPhone, iPhone 3G & 3G S

Go into the settings. The default timing is 0 to 50km/h. You can change the timing values.
