New E92 335 discount?

I am really really tempted to order a new E92. It's only common sense stopping me as I've only had my E90 for 4 months!

I have been speaking to my dealer though and testing the water and was wondering, have any UK buyers been able to get any discount off there 335 E92?

If you did, how much? e.g. I managed to get 8% off my E90 M Sport.

I got 3% off mine thru Broadspeed 2 months before the launch date...I would think that could be matched or bettered if you order during last few days of October.

Broadspeed are currently offering 3% so just be realistic and try a few dealers.

I don`t think you`ll get huge discounts in Oct as it`s the first month of the quarter. End of Dec will be the best month as they`ll all be pushing for that quarter and the year.I got a discount of 13.4% on a 325d M sport from Coopers Tunbridge Wells through Autobytel, they were only showing 11% online but if your lucky enough to find a car that`s already built in your spec and one of their dealers is desperate enough, more is easily achievable.

335 Coupe

Went to see my dealer last week and had a quick chat about part exchanging my 6 mth old E90 330d M Sport.
The margins on the car are slim, plus there are very few in the system. The diesels aren't available till mid Nov, at best they offered about £600/700 off the list, although with options, he could "do something". Agreed it is the beginning of the new qtr so any discounts here are few, try Dec, thats often a good chance to catch them when they're quiet!
The part exchange valuation though on my E90 was the kicker...........
But hey that's what you get for even looking into selling up so early. Decided to keep hold of the E90 for a while.

Mind you spotted my first 335i on the M25 the other day, guy was weaving all over the place, guessing he was playing with his iDrive - oh the memories

I've been offered a 3% discount.

I am a little concerned that dealers are already offering a discount on a new model already.

I was wondering what effect this will have on the long term re-sale value of the 335 E92?

3% is not a real hard cut, when you can get can get 11+% on a saloon or touring.

My local dealer offered 0% + a protective paint finish. Even when I showed him the Broadspeed website he wouldn't budge. Cost me a £20 train ride for my to get my 3%

BTW Broadspeed / autobytel are all internet shop-fronts for inchcape dealers (Cooper)

£20 is a good investment to save 3%

I asked tonight" hey, what discount are you offering on the 335d saloon?" his reply, "nothing"!

I'm mad looking to change already. My 320d is stunning and it's only 4 months old.

I think I need to think about something else...........................

I got 3%, possibly from the same dealer that Chris visited. Didn't try any alternatives because it's a great dealership.

I got 12.25% off today on a 335d M Sport Saloon from my local dealer!

I was armed with a price from autoebid and that's about it. I could have squeezed him for a little more (he would have gone to 13%) but I think he was feeling uncomfortable going that far and I didn't want a sour relationship since they're the ones that'll be servicing the car!

I got (4 weeks ago when ordering) 2.0% (+ free mats & full Supaguard) out of an E92 335d from my local dealer. Plus they also did for free some tickling up (the odd scratch and the like) of my Z4M prior to my selling it (obviously not to them!). I did a LOT of phoning around, and at the time I ordered NONE of the BMW dealers I contacted offered ANY discount AT ALL. All in all, I'm happy with my deal AND my local dealer.

Thats good. It great when you have a relationship like that with your local dealer.

Their margin is 14% so they made a tiny profit. I can scan in the order sheet over the weekend if anyone is interested / wants it to hunt after a better deal from their local dealer

Its due end of November and I'm really really excited!

Chris, your mad!

I thought you bought the 4 door because of lack of space in your e46 cab?

Surely 2 door coupe is going to have the same if not less interior room?

I'm only jealous!

I was just having one of those "moments", I often have then.

I love my E90. Maybe a E93 when the kids are older (next summer should do it )

Yup - had one of them moments myself, just had to go to the launch do of the coupe didn't I, I too was interested in changing my 6mth old E90 in for the younger shinier model
Fortunately (or should that be unfortunately) - the discount of a few hundred quid was off putting, plus the wife stepped in

Might be me getting old - but might opt for a Ken Livingstone friendly X5 next

As the wife says - nothing wrong with the 3 saloon, why pay less for two fewer doors...................married women................she loved the old E46 coupe that we dated in

red355, did you trade-in something when buying through Broadspeed. I'm currently waiting on them getting back to me with some figures etc

From my experience, it seemed my dealer could give a good discount on a saloon but very little on the coupe. I guess it's because it's new and they have full order books for the coupe.
