The last E91 string fizzled. I think the <5% USA market applies to this list as well. Another one of those inexplicable USA - Euro difs, along with the manual/step and gas/diesel gaps. One of the best selling euro models will be the E91 320d with manual trans -- and BMW NA figures they would have to give them away here. Maybe if crude gets up to $75/barrel we will start to see the light.

I wish diesels were available here. I had a Jetta TDI a few years ago and it was great. 45 MPG, and you can drive them forever. I think the real problem is our federal regulations from all the tree huggers.
One of the things I'm going to like with the wagon is the fact that it will be so rare here. I'm betting we won't see two others in the course of a year.
