current speed on nav

is there anywhere on the nav system you can see the current speed of vechile and not the average

No, there does not appear to be. Because of triangulation the GPS can only read an average anyway so it would be of little use whan compared to the analogue calculations from the wheel rotation.

i believe the only place to see instant speed is the speedo.

not a good idea moving the eye line off the straight ahead to read what would most probably be a numerical readout that takes the brain longer to compute that the tried, trusted and proven dial method.

also, it's not ally what the nav is truly about. however, better still, mine gives me an estimated time of arrival to your destination. very nice.

If you put criuse control on, and then reset your average speed...you get the exact speed read off the abs braking system.
