I appreciate that there have been numerous posts on tyres and i could probably do a comprehensive search and get the answers to my question!!!

BUT - currently, where is the CHEAPEST place to source a set of PS2's from?

Steve,

Kwik Fit were/are doing a buy 4 tyres get 25% off. Not sure if they stock PS2's. Costco will do a set for £1k for the M3. Otherwise, check Camskill and MyTyres online.

try event-tyres.co.uk i use them and they are normally the best prices around.

not sure on the sizes for you but they are doing PS2 in 255/35/18 for £860 a set including fitting at your home/work.

Thanks Matt for that info - might see if Costco are doing any deals as ive heard they often do promos. Thank you also Kend - ive used Elite many times but they are not always that great on the higher end tyres like the PS2 - also they f**ked 2 of my alloys on my last E92 M3 when changing tyres and tried to hide it, so im a little wary of them etc. And thanks to E902717 - will try that website - ive just bought a set of CSL alloys so im looking at 235/35/19 fronts and 265/30/19 rears.
Has anyone ever heard of and/or used Sheen Tyres in Sheen at all?? A friend of mine might be able to get me a decent discount from them and just wondered what their reputation was like??

Just checked blackcircles.com...

£5 under the £1,100 mark for PS2's in your specified sizes, fully fitted/balanced etc.

I don't know hoe this stacks up with proces you've had but if nothing else you have a benchmark price to go on.

i went to costco in nov 09 and they had a deal on 4 tyres 25% off, as you know only sell one brand,so they should be cheaper than other supplyers, went in there and got quoted £280 with the vat of ps2 run flat,bathwick tyres done them for £241 with the vat, alot cheaper i only needed 2 so i went with bathwick tyres

Ive just called Costco - they dont have them in stock so need to order them - takes about a week - but they've quoted £220 for the fronts and £288 for the rears - so £1,016 inc vat and fitting.

Just tried Bathwick and they quoted £1,010 - so £6 cheaper than Costco!! Sadly they are quite a distance from me so thus far im looking at going with Costco Chingford.

Kwik Fit have just quoted £1,078 all in - and thats including their current 25% off promo! Costco are still in the lead!!!

Ooh, thats the cheapest but how much does it cost normally to fit and balance tyres these days???

Well worth the money aslong as they have the proper machinery ie - machines that won't mark your rims.

Got the PS2's fitted this morning and im really happy. Far to wet to try them out but more importantly the car looks so much better with the CSL's fitted. Have to say they were a really great bunch of fellas at East Sheen Tyres.

LOL - yeh i know Pete, sorry fella. I would've taken some more pics but the rain was hammering down pretty much all day. The car goes to Simpsons on Thursday to have the Bilstein PSS10 coilovers fitted - so will definitely take some pics and upload towards end of next week.
