HELP!! My iPhone Wont Turn On????

Wondered if anyone could give me any quick advice before i go into panic mode!!! My iPhone wont switch on. I turned it off last night - it had about 1/4 of battery life left in it when i turned it off.

Any advice??

Panic over!!! I remembered Faizaan saying something about the soft reset - so i pressed and held both the on/off button AND the main button at the bottom - held them in for about 20 secs and the Apple sign came on - it then went to main screen - so relieved!!!

Bloody phones - hate being so reliant on them. My iPhone may well have some kind of bug in it somewhere because recently i turned it on and it had deleted about HALF of my NAMES but left all the other details - problem being that i had and still have NO idea who all these numbers relate to???? It seemed to do it to all of those contacts that had email addresses. Bloody annoying.

Strange mate. My first 3gs died. Similar to yours but never started again. Do you sync the phone regularly. Plug into laptop/computer and it will re install contacts as they last were when sync'd

If it was a soft reset it won't have lost any contacts. But obviously still a good idea to sync regularly.

On another note, my bosses XFR locked up yesterday during BT pairing with an iPhone. Computer system completely unresponsive and to top it off he had the heated seats set on BURN!

That's definitely a bug though. To lose the name's but not the rest of the corresponding record is mental!
