I guess it is,but....you need to change exhaust and aluminnium things below your doors(running boards),if you oredered them separatly..also you will not have fog lights anymore..
I think that BMW will very soon make an M BODY KIT for civil version..like on series 5 or X5... |

I think the guy is just asking if it is possible to fit an M body kit to a regular X6...not that he has an X6M and wants to take the body parts off. Who wants to do that anyway

Anyway, it is a good question to begin with. i plan to do this to min immediately i get it in July. Changing the front and back bumpers and the rear exhaust is actually the easy part. The tough part is the Active cruise control.
The X6M does not have Active cruise control with STOP and GO function and so it will be a gamble if this can be transferred correctly. But i will give it a try anyway. |

LOL....yeah sure fell into it. I would get the new performance bumper, not the M bumper itself. I was going for the Hamann M bumper which is very aggressive and has some led's also...but the fact that its around $3500 is making me think twice. This new option seems a lot more worth it and I can spend what I saved on the steering wheel and the performance upgrade.

The only thing i do worry about is the Active Cruise Control. It will be a challenge. If the radar 'ball'is the same as that on the normal cruise control with STOP function, then it shouldnt be a problem, because i believe the X6M has this? or not? it is posible.. thats exactly what i was supose to do but once i went to the dealer they said it is posible but its gonna cost u alot money cuz u need to change everything inside the bumber cover not only the bumper cover... plus u need to paint the side lip and u need to repaint all the siders and the back lip or its gonna look weird.. they told me abt the performance body kit its less expensive and looks better thats what i did.. and i love my x6 the way it is now with the performance bodykit!!!
