Turbo Timer for 335i

Are any owners planning or already installed a Turbo Timer for the 335i?

For those of you that don't know what a Turbo Timer does, it allows the turbos to properly cool down after being driven hard, and allowing the oil in the turbo to also come down to temp. It keeps the engine running after you have taken the key out of the ignition, and gone about your merry way.

You don't need a turbo timer on modern boosted cars, as far as I understand. Try running a search, turbo timers have been discussed a few times.

Turbo cars that require timers are turbos that are considered "dry turbos" and only have oil circulated through them. Fortunately these turbos are cooled with coolant and therefore does not require a turbo timer.

Once saw an E36 M3 with a turbo timer, no newer Bimmers though...but the new Twin-Turbo 335i might put one on the market!

Don't buy it, just wait a minute or two, or wait until they stop glowing
