In Boston for two nights...

And I am just looking for recomendations on where to go.

Any good restaurants that I should check out?

How about night life? Decent bars?

I am staying in the Financial District, so ideally I would like to stay somewhat close to that area, but I do not mind taking a cab somewhere.

That's where I live. For restaurants I would recommend: Grotto, Nebo or Bacco as solid italian. For seafood, I would do Legals right down the street for some solid clam chowdah or other staples. Otherwise decent bar food at The Vault and the bars at fan hall are decent altho dead on wkdays. Have fun!
