E90POST Awards

E90Post, a benchmark online community, offers guidance to those who share the same interest. The members who have helped many others with questions or opinions deserve recognition and the E90Post Awards will be a perfect solution. Since my membership on this forum is short lived, I will need some assistance.

Step 1. Create Categories -We need to brainstorm topics that will honor members for their achievements. Maybe 8-10 categories.
i.e. Member of the Year, Most Influential, Best Vendor, etc.

Step 2. Nominate Candidates -Established members (guideline: those with 1000+ posts will be eligible) will select 3 to 5 candidates for each category.
i.e. Best Vendor: Ryan@Eisenhaus, Shiv@Vishnu, etc.

Step 3. Poll A poll for each category will be posted for period of time and any member of E90Post.com will be eligible to vote.
The polls on this forum already allow one vote per member. Maybe we can only disclose the poll results after they are closed, instead of allowing anyone to view the progress at anytime.

Please let me know if you think if this format will work or if this is even a good idea.

1000+ posts is to high. Not alot of member have that much. Id say 250 posts. Id make categories for best custom sound system, Best curb appeal, ect......

I understand what you mean, but I think a selected few who have been a member for at least a calender year, should be eligible to nominate. Both you and I have only been members for only a few months, and I'm sure many things have happened on this forum before my time. I know I would only be nominating active members from the past two months.

I like your category suggestions. Maybe we can include Best Thread (speedfreak vs. tyne) or Best Post.
