Sikkbass the idea was i like de baged but this is jus a little diff you know something is there but it is not till you get close you know what it is. Blends in with the car to a degree and also ties in the grill and wheels with the rear of the car. It was a must for the style of which im going |

If not get the sets off ebay. Many members have bought them and are top quality. They are from Hong Kong but only take about 7-10 days to arrive. I got them off therse guys, they have fantastic feedback (99.5% from 1800 sales!)
http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/autoemblem_attic OP: The car looks great and the lip/badges really set it off |

Thanks men, might have to invest in a set now I've got the black kidney grilles on - then I will be totally chrome free! Loving the look, I've never seen a Beemer with them in the flesh either, it is something a bit different.
OP - how did you make sure they were in the right position, I'd be paranoid about getting them skew-whiff! |

[IMG][/IMG] So the badges are black and the red lines you see are masking tape (low tack) i even give it a stick on my top first so it doesn’t peal your paint. I made sure they were all spot on so the top and bottom lines were just touching the bottom/top of the badges then i put a pice of tape cut down on the back leading edge of each decal. I then used a hair dryer to heat the decals before using a piece of dental floss to gently slide down the back off and pull the decal off. Once off it shouldn’t leave much residue but what it did leave I used a little vodka on a lint free cloth to really give it a good clean.(I know vodka but it works really well!) All this was done with the masking tape still there then all you got to do is put the badges back on exactly along/down the edges of your tape. SIMPLES |

looks excellent ... even makes me (maybe) even want a badge on the car, allways preffered the clean stealth look.
