Dunlop 17" SP WinterSport 3D tires with ASA JH3s.
I got Dunlop’s 17" SP WinterSport 3D tires with ASA JH3s for my e92.
Anyone else have them, and have any comments?

I have the same tire, previous generation - the M3 DSSTs. As the 3Ds are new for this season as far as I know, doubt manny people have driven them in snow just yet. I am very happy with my winters, and our winters are like your snow storm on a regular basis.
You should be fine with your choice. |

anyone else? i think everyone has them... they seem to be the wheel/tire combo of choice for E90/92 drivers. They look great on the cars.

I have them (SP Wintersport 3D) under my E46-2 during the winterperiod. They have a bit of a longer brakedistance in comparison to for example the Michelin Alpins. For the rest they are the way to go in the snow, ice and rain, as long as the temperature is under 5 degrees Celsius (41 degrees Fahrenheit)

After figuring out that my car is undriveable in snow without the tires and getting stuck in a freak storm I had them put on my car. I haven't had the chance to drive them in snow yet though, because after the storm passed, it went back into the 60s

Mine (same setup) are sitting in the garage. Will prolly put them on end of Nov. You get those freak lake effect storms so better safe than sorry for you!
