Need a new clutch.

I've got a 2006 330i E90... I just hit 50k and the clutch has just started slipping on me. Any good recommendations for a new clutch kit? I haven't been able to find many online.

Thanks,
Pat

I recommend SACHS products, they are very high quality.

The coilover is just as good if not even better than Bilstien.

Wow a new clutch at 50k? Do you drive aggressively? I have a 2006 330i with the extended maintenance, but I may be having an LSD installed. If my clutch goes, I worry they might deny coverage and claim I "abused" it...

I mean, ya I drive the car but not too crazy. It doesn't slip too bad but enough to make me want a new one. Or do I trade in as in for a 335i? hmm

CDV is the most worthless thing ever. And it can chew sycros too. Make sure you get one that's been drilled.

The trannys have different part numbers but the flywheels are the same. The 335i's have different flywheels and trannys. I've been looking for a good aftermarket clutch for mine. I'll try and research and see if there's a US distributor for sachs. My clutch is almost done and my flywheel is probably gone too from all the clutch chatter. But I got 120k out of it and still going!

I have about 21k miles and my clutch is slipping I don't know if the owner before me was abusing it often or if it is my fault but it's undoubtedly messed up. I do have a JB3, RR catless downpipes, and an AFE intake which has substantially increased my HP so I am thinking that is a big part. I'm just taking it easy for now but I will need to replace it and was wondering for the best one for a good price that will hold up with the power?

I have 177K on my 2000 Golf with no slipping at all. Yes, I drove the car pretty hard (I have it since new). My 330 has 35K on it, but I purchased it with 21K on it, so I don't know what kind of driver the previous owner was.

Pulling out is where you get most of your wear. If you ride the clutch every time you pull it, it'll wear out quickly.

Drive a car with a DSG and pay attention to how the computer eases out the clutch rather quickly with very little revs. I try to do this all the time. Very little time for the clutch to wear.

Garage List
2006 325i  [0.00]
My 06 325i is nearing its 100k mark (highway commute to school). Its still on the original clutch lol. Now I have begun to feel the clutch judder but I can avoid it if I am careful. The clutch has never slipped under full throttle. I feel it is time to replace it or maybe wait until it is gone completly...

Anyone have any links for a 325i clutch?

Keep going until it dies. Clutch chatter just means you'll need a new flywheel when the clutch finally goes.
