Does GIAC flash reduce gas mileage a lot?

I just got my car flashed with GIAC, and it seems like the car is really thirsty now. I have been driving like a grandma and I still go threw gas really quickly. Is this normal, or does the car need to get used to the flash?

GIAC runs richer AtoFs but only when you get on it.
It should be the same freeway gas mileage.

Actually, I don't know if the GIAC has a "lean cruise" feature implemented or what but I have noticed an increase in my average MPG. I can get about 38MPG at highway speeds pretty consistantly. Here is a video demonstration:

Has it always been like that or did it take your car a little while to get used to the flash?

The DME will continuously adapt to conditions/driving habits, but mileage shouldn't suffer at all.

Of course, this doesn't count if your right foot is always on the floor.

the AFR ratio is unchanged up to 3200 rpm so while cruising the car has stock like mileage.
