Good brand of spacer??
Alright..I recently took off my 18" 162's and put on 19" M5 reps. I understand that I will need a 10mm spacer in the rear to finish the look.
For all of you running with spacers...what brand or make of spacers are recommended from the group's experience?? From searching it sounds like most popular are HnR, Eibach, or Rogue....but I don't know much or have prior experience with spacers. Your input is wanted

Stay away from H&R 10mm spacers. They will size on to your hubs and the rings will crack. Long and I had this same problem.
Go with rogue or eibach. |

I love the Rogue Engineering ones, they have a high-quality look to them and they come complete with the necessary lug bolts....

H&R,Eibach,Rouqe Engineering, as long as they are 12mm minimum thickness,
cause the center hub of your rear wheel is longer then the front center hub.So if you put 10mm it would sit on top of it,and when you tighten it,the spacer would crack. It had been discuss before in this forum. If you would like to know more in detail, you can search for the thread. By the way what offset of the M5 replica do you buy for your rear wheel? Good Luck |

Searched ... can't find anything about 12mm being the min or 10mm cracking on the rear. Can you post some links, or some usernames that would've posted about it.
[searched on yours and only found this one post about spacers cracking] I need the info because I was just about to order up 10mm spacers. Thanks. |
