18" wheels..but rear won't stick out!
I got 18" 8'&9' wheels for my car..they look very aggressive cause I had stupid 16" before but I want to have my rear wheel stick out a little more close to the fender or almost inline with fender..U think spacer is the answer to my question..if yes! then how many mm spacers do i need and is it OK to put spacers on without compromising any safety or warrenty issues....
Thanks guys.... |

your BEST bet would have been to get wheels with a more aggressive offset. Since you didn't getting spacers is your only option. I won't recommend getting more than 12mm, for safety/warranty reasons, but some people here run 15mm.
Stick with 12mm, with extended lug bolts, and you'll be fine. |

achal, yep 12mm spacers should do the trick. Get quality ones like Rogue Engineering ones that come with appropriate lug bolts.

do it your self. All you do is take the wheel off, put the spacer on the hub, and reinstall the wheel with the longer bolts.

Your rear wheels are 9" ... I'd say go for the 12mm's. If you order from Rogue Engineering, they'd be sure to send you the appropriate parts. I'm very happy with their products and service.

On second thought, it might be easier to go with the 15mm's. You have aftermarket wheels, not sure if they are compatible.

achal...I think I'd go with the 15mm for a more universal application. Not sure of those wheels' inner hub design and its compability with the 12mm spacers.
The springs install place is 15 minutes from my place...
