well i thought it would be good with a big thread. i guess i can start showing my car (guess you already seen it when i bumped in to a deer in 70-80 km/h.
car wasnt damaged that much (lucky me) but if you think the thread is good, keep posting damaged E90/91/92/93's    i think it could be interesting of a thread like this (if there already isnt one, lol). drive safe!! |

Was that the superbowl one? What was the damage estimate and what was damaged?

This is my buddies Car after he wrecked January of 2009. Pretty gnarly, almost killed the kid, however the two passengers walked away unscratched, minus one with seat belt rash. He now drives an beautiful 135i, after this he saw it as time to go lighter, smaller and faster O_o But i do think he learned a serious lesson. As you can see he was going pretty fast and hit two telephone poles on basically the strongest part of the car. Obviously jaws of life were used to remove the door. Top that.

while i would never want to wish any one this sort of misfortune, it is the first thing i turn to in the bmw magazine. we all enjoy bmws in general as it lives up to its billing as the 'ultimate driving machine,' but in my opinion, its primary function is to take the blow for my family. everything else is secondary. my loved ones are irreplaceable, but our cars are mass-produced by the zillions...always impressed by german engineering when it's really needed.
i'm reminded of my wife's 2003 x5 that got hit at an angle by a hummer h2. it looked bad, because of all the broken glass from the taillight, but was blown away to realize the rear part of the frame moved 5mm to the right and down, while the hummer's entire front driver side hood and frame buckled, windshield cracked, and was totalled... regardless, drive carefully. this is NOT one thread to feature ourselves in, as much as it is avoidable.

Yeahh you know..
Well I got into a wreck recently also
 Well its not that big of a deal its just a back up car I would never let anything happen to my BMW  |

the point wasnt to make people wreck their cars and take pics, i just wanted to post some pictures of damaged e9xs, they are safe and robust. but still, you can upload pics of damaged bmw
 i hit a deer in pretty high speed, but the car didnt take much damage. the deer on the other hand kind of died. and just drive safely, hope you guys didnt get hurt. |
