Where can i buy tow hook cover?

Mine rear one fell off and i need a new one. The stealership wants 140$ for a new one painted. I dont want to get sodomized so im looking to you guys for other places i can buy one.

I tried google but didnt really come up with anything. Ebay also does not have the ones for E9x. I also searched the forums and some people say longtran, but i dont know if he still has any or what. I guess pm'ing him would help..

So where can i get one that is a reasonable price? for 140$ i might as well replace the whole bumper with mtech.

On a side note.. it was nice out today and i got to actually floor it for the first time in a couple months. I love having power/traction again, the car took off like a bullet and im not even tuned right now. I cant wait till spring when i can put my tune back in so i can enjoy some real power.

So weird.. I have the same exact problem, and even brought up the Mtech bumper just for laughs. Painting it is what makes it so expensive. You shouldn't really look for an Ebay piece, unless you don't mind the colors to be off. If you ever want to paint some other OEM part, just have them paint that little cover as well.

Some E9X at the bottom, but I think it's E90.

What about just using touch up paint?

I doubt you will be able to find that cover aftermarket. How much does the dealer want for that little cover?

Lost mine a few months back-
Bought 3 of them, unpainted. $14 each.
Had a bottle of touch up paint and painted one of them (Space Gray) and it came out well enough that you couldn't tell unless you got up close.

Then, had to have my hood painted due to a HUGH scratch (never put an RC plane on your hood to take a pic when your friend has the controller in his hand!)
Long story short, when I had the hood painted, they shot the other 2 unpainted tow covers.
So now I have a perfect one and my hand painted one as spares, and have replaced the missing one with the newly painted one and secured it with a drop of elmers glue!

Good Luck~

+1 for Longtran

was $50 for one shipped, which is less than ordering the part and having the paint mixed for such a small part.
