The orange side

I see that european E90s have the white headlamp housing but the US has the orange part in it. Is there a way to remove it?

See the "clear lenses" thread..All the info you need to know about them are there..They are standard here in Europe, and they cost 500 bucks a piece for the basic clear headlight assembly, 800 for Xenons, and 1100 for Xenons with Adaptive Technology...Not cheap at all....

hi...

Whats the defference between Xenons with Adaptive Technology and only xenons alone? (800 for Xenons, and 1100 for Xenons with Adaptive Technology) Is it the option that the lights follow the road?

Boolis, here's an explanation of Adaptive Headlights :

Adaptive Headlights

Adaptive Headlights provide you with greater security when driving at night or when visibility is poor. In contrast to traditional headlights, BMW's "intelligent light" solution features headlights which can swivel from side to side. These movable headlights are the ideal source of light when taking a bend. Sensors measure the angle of the car's curve, the rotation speed around the vertical axle (yaw) and car's velocity. The information derived from these sources is used to gauge the ideal angle of the headlights for the best illumination of the bend ahead.

There's a great video by mt-330 of the adaptive headlights in action. Look for it in the video gallery (14th video).

The adaptive headlights follow the direction of your steer for better illumination. Check this out:

I have ordered (bi)xenon(I also had it on my 5 former cars ) but not the Adaptive Headlight System. I think Xenon is the keyword here.

I recall that Citroen(French car manufacturer) had such a system in the past on their DSs and their CXs way back in the 70's didn't they?
