Talking Snow Removal - No scratches!

I just cleared 16" of snow + ice off my flawless 325i without micro-marring the paint. I knew if I left the snow there, it would eventually slide down the sheet metal, dragging little pieces of dirt with it, damaging the paint.

Temps were in the mid 30's today, so I took out the hose and sprayed cool water on the snow, melting and washing away small, wet pieces of snow, a little at a time. I havnt seen it in bright sun yet, but I think I managed a perfect job. Took about 40 minutes to get all the snow off without sliding anything across my hood, trunk, or roof.

That's hardcore.

My snow removal tool never comes into contact with my paint. I push most of the snow off, then just wait for the rest to blow off or melt on its own.
