Anyone have problems with the all-weather floormats?
You know that circular velcro piece that screws into the floor, that the mat "sticks" to?
Well mine keeps coming unscrewed and the mat slips up. I have to pull the mat back down all the time. Anyone have this issues. It seems pretty unsafe because the floor mat goes on top of the gas pedal sometimes. Thanks

Mine mats do that too At this point, I just decided to go with my regular floor mats. Recall Honestly, don't even know why I got them....living in Socal and everything.

Been having this problem since day 1. I just don't use the driver's side anymore. There's been a few times where it got stuck under and delay the clutch pedal movement by a second or so.

The velcro dial is not for the all-weather mats. The all weather mats come with a hook that you screw into the carpet. that hook holds them in place perfectly.

No problems here. I use the Bavarian Autosport All Weather mats (with the squares) and they are great. They are thin and durable. I wash them every few months. They do leave a little black residue on the car floor, but that will always be covered by some mat or another.

True story. All you need is 1 hook to keep the front mats in place. I know I have at least 1 on the driver side, not sure if there is one on the passanger side but it doesnt move. I like the mats and have no problems with them.

I'm starting to think (after reading another thread on this page) that we may be talking about two different kinds of all-weather mats.
I'm talking about the second set pictured here. Are you guys with the hooks talking about the first set?

I have the top ones (without carpet heel pad) and they slip upwards all the time. Sometimes my clutch catches on the mat on the way up, drives me crazy.

"Carpet" is a stretch. Have these in our XC70; "carpet" pile is flush w/mat, very dense, and not plush at all. They do look nicer than the all-rubber, though.

Get the mats with the carpet patch. They do not move. But I'm probably going to get a set of sisal mats from Cocomats. They sound and look excellent.

Nah, definitely not just you. The mats suck. I use the thick carpet ones in the summer and those are perfect. But I bought rubber ones for the winter to catch salt/sand and they've been terrible since day one.

So, which ones come with the hooks?
Mine (with the heel carpet) did not come with hooks, but they do slide or come undone. Sometimes the velcro screw actually screws out!
