2006 325: iWhich one to buy?
Ok, this is my first post. I am looking into buying a white/tan 2006 325i premium/cold weather package/auto. I have 2 choices (still looking for more)
Which one would you choose: 1) Bentley dealership, 39,000 miles, $17,500. Brakes/rotors were replaced. New run-flat tires. But noise (grinding) coming from the right side that he said it was being sent to bmw on Monday. I love the low miles, but I have my doubts about this one (maybe abuse?, curb jumping?) 2) Chevy dealership: 52,100 miles $16,000. Brakes/rotors were replaced. I have to check if the tires needs replacing too. 3) Keep looking Thanks in advance. |

The lower the miles the better.
I would also try to pick one up with the Sports Package as well. ...So depending on what the options are on the above two, I'd go with: 3) Keep looking

I would stay away from anything I heard a noise in. Sometimes grinding noises magically disappear and than come back a short while later. I wouldnt put it past the dealer to lie and say they fixed it, when it really just went into remission. I would go with the cheaper car - 16 is an excellent price for that car, if its in good shape. I would take the extra $1500 and look for a third party warranty.
Better yet, find a MT. Faster, more fun, more efficient. |

Keep looking. Hold out for a CPO with the stuff you want from a reputable BMW dealer. More money, but worth it, IMO.

The single best E9x option is sports seats, which means you need one with the sports pacakge. It's not even just for spirited driving -- the additional lateral and thigh support makes you feel like you're always sitting "in" the car not "on" it. Wheels can easily be changed, but seats not so much.

Keep looking. Definitely would only buy a BMW from a BMW dealership. If you are going for a 325, get one with the sport package. You will be more satisfied.
