Cold start rpms

I couldn't find this in the search...

I noticed a couple of times in the morning, when I cold start my engine...the rpms go up slightly to about 2k and then drops back down. It only lasts a few seconds but i was concerned...It has never done this before. I'm hoping it is only due to the cold weather...

Anyone else experience this?

Its not the HPFP its just the cold weather and if you have not used your car in a few days it dose the same thing.

very normal. Wait for the revs to settle before driving off. Good start up procedure on cold days.

The idling depends on temperature, and what you have noticed is normal. Do not worry about it as long as the cold start rpms stay reasonable.
