Calling all 07 and newer E90 owners...

I've read through a number of threads, but it seems like no one has found a true reason why some post 07 and newer models welcoming light feature works for some, and doesn't for others. Any explanation?

I'm referring to the ability to unlock your vehicle with the headlamp switch set to AUTO. Feature allows for the interior courtesy light, door handles, and as well, switch on the parking lights and AE (Angel Eyes aka corona rings).

Are you talking about the Comfort Access?
If so, it is an option so some may have it and some may not. My car has it.

I cant get mine to do it either

I THINK ONLY 08+ MODELS DO IT.

My '07 does this, and I have comfort access.

I still think that you can adjust these things via the stalk-controlled computer interface thingy. Either that or iDrive, if you have it.

They all should turn on interior lights and door handle lights upon unlock. Even my 06 does this. "Welcome lights" only refers to the fading on of parking lights and angel eyes. That's either an 08+ feature or March 07+ build 07 feature, not sure which.
