BMW 325I Extended warranty & Power Train Warranty

Hello All,
I own BMW 325I for which I decided to buy extended warranty and power train warranty. Extended warranty would cover my car for 2years/100000.

I need to spend 2000$ for extended warranty and 2500$ for Power train warranty.
Is it worth spending that much money on warranties?

I appreciate if someone clarifies my concern.

I'm not sure I understand. You've purchased an extended warranty AND a powertrain warranty? Your powertrain would be covered under the extended wawrranty, so why the redundancy?

It sounds like you bought extended MAINTENANCE and extended WARRANTY (powertrain). Maint covers oil changes, brakes, wiper blades, cabin filters. Powertrain covers things that break (but read teh fine print)

Thanks for your replies. Actually I bought extended maintenance for 2K which covers 2 more years / 100000 whichever occurs first.
And also I bought Power train plus warranty for 2K more for BMW of North America LLC.

Is it worth spending that much money on maintenance + power train warranty?

Thanks,

Yes, I post this question yesterday. I bought warranty yesterday evening only. I am trying to justify whether I spent excess or is it worthy. People who have already experienced can share their views.

I think the extended mechanical warranty is more important than extending the maintenance warranty. I wasn't aware that BMW has an extended mechanical warranty that only covers the powertrain. Though not as complete as the standard 4 year/50K warranty, it does cover more than just the powertrain.
