Intercooler

Hey guys. I'm pretty new to the site and am still trying to figure out all of the buttons and rules. Im on my second BMW...the first one was an 06' 330i, the lease ended and I gave it back in. Now I have an 09' 335i coupe. I am currently building this car into a monster as I want to keep it for a while. The BMW performance exhaust and cold air intake is already on my list. I live pretty close to active autowerke miami so I will also be getting the chip from them. I was just wondering if anybody had any advice on doing this work and any suggestions for an intercooler?

If there is a thread already discussing this please direct me towards it, i searched but could not find and i dont want to waste anybodies time or piss anybody off haha

I also would like to know which intercooler would require no modifications, I really would hate to cut into my bumper.

Try the Turbo / FI Engine Tuning . . . board, you will find your info there. Also, use the search button and you will find a pleathora of FMIC information.

If you want an FMIC that requires no cutting or removal of the front bumper, check out Helix.

Read the turbo section. Hard to make a "monster" if you dont know what your doing.

It would also be hard to make a monster with the AA tune. Their tune sucks and its a waste of money.

JB3, Procede, or GIAC. Read about them.

Their updated Processor II system is much better. I ran the original Processor and while it was good, the new version is a huge improvement. I would do JB3 however if you are going to upgrade the software- which I think is a must.

My Helix didn't require any cutting of the bumper
