I've done that for 2 years straight now. I never drink soda.

I'm not religious at all. No one ever follows through with Lent anyway.

I follow through every year. That is if I give something up.

And it's no longer just a Catholic thing. It's pretty much spread across all christian religions, and even those that don't practice anything.

And the real Lent is actually doing something good/helpful, you don't have to actually give up anything. Lots of people spend time volunteering during lent or volunteer for additional things. Things they don't usually do during the year.

Something like that. I was raised catholic and i don't even know, although i don't practice anymore.
