- Aluminium & Terra 2) Sparkling Graphite - Walnut & Black Between the above 2 choices, I would take Silver/Terra/Aluminium. Aluminium matches the Silver exterior perfectly... you can see that when a door is open. Terra is not for everyone, but I love it more in real life than in pictures, and it looks the best with Aluminium.

What does your wife want? Did you ask her?
But among those choices...I would go with silver/poplar/black.

My wife just ordered her first BMW, a 330xi. Since it is going to be primarily her car (oh, I'll probably get to drive it on occasion), I let her go with the colors. Just picked SG and went with gray and walnut trim. She felt this did give more of a luxurious look (i.e., she wasn't going for sport) and said it made it look brighter and more spacious.
While it would not have been my first choice, I'll have to admit that it does appear to be a good color combination for SG. Greg |

The poplar is lighter than the burl, and the aluminum has a slightly brushed look. All 3 are no cost options. If you are going with a basic car and auto check out the black, with beige and burl. If you are getting the leather ($1450) you might as well just get the premium package ($2900) so you would have power seats with memory($995)with the leather and some other goodies (Bmw Assist $750, Self dimming mirror w/ compass, folding auto dim side mirrors, seat memory,Homelink garage door opner, lumbar support). If not leather, that eliminates terra from your choices above. So I personally chose on my car, Sprakilin Graphite, Beige, Poplar! Last edited by mapezzul; 08-20-2005 at 08:14 AM.. |

Tinting is a must in a hot climate like Houston or Phoenix with a black interior. I personally don't gett he whole aluminum on the interior, it's to industrial (rather then sporty) looking for a luxury car IMO. The wood is verry elegent, looks nice.

The silver looks great with the alum trim. Carries over the exterior into the interior. The black leather provides a nice contrast.

aluminum trim if you're into sport...wood if luxury...I have alu as I consider my car to be sporty...I don't consider it luxury...now a Escalade....or a 7 series...that's what I think of when I think luxury....hence wood in those rides
