Winter tyres - help need it in rush

Hi guys/gals

I am about to get my winter setup. How would you rate Pirelli's SOTTOZERO RFT? Are they at least as good as Blizzaks' LM22? I need to decide today, so please give me some inputs.
The price for Pirelli's 225/45/17 size is over 150 bucks cheeper each than Blizzacks

THX

Where are you getting your prices?

You can order the Blizzak LM-25's from Tirerack for $159 for the 205/45/HR-17 (Runflats) and the Pirelli Winter 210 Sottozero for $171 for the 225/45/HR-17 (Runflats).

Other than that, I don't know which is better as I'm here researching Winter Runflat tires myself....

see, the problem is that I am in Toronto Canada and we don't have tirerack. Today the best prices I got for blizzacks - $420 CAN. and Pirellis - $290 CAN. Compare to US here in Toronto they are soo fu...n expensive.
BTW Blizzacks LM25 are not true RFT only LM22 are RFT.

Anybody here in Toronto can direct me to some shops with better prices. I went to Burlington Tire and Tire Depot so far.

I just ordered Dunlop Winter Sport M3s today from TR. Ask them to ship it via FedEx to save a bit on brokerage. I figure I will save at least $100 vs buying them locally when all is said and done (incl duty, GST, installation).

www.tiretrends.com

You'll pay about 1800 for 17 M5 replicas with Dunlop DSSTs 225.45.17 winter rubber

You'll save provincial sales tax (they are BC based) and shiping is within 7 days.

Tiretrends.com has some good prices. I see you are in Toronto. Have you checked out Wheels Direct? They are in Scarborough at McCowan/Sheppard. Its been a while since I got tires from there but I'd recommend them.
