Hi - new around here...

Hi

Does anyone have any photos of the red brown Dakota leather option? Been searching the forum and Googling but nothing. Don't want to trust the configurator!

No - it's a different option to saddle brown. Actually called 'red-brown'. I quite fancy it with space grey paint... (I think.)

I asked to see it in the showroom and was told they didn't have any available for me to see but that it was more commonly referred to as Shitty Brown by the sales people.

Like I said I never got to see and went safe with the black.

This is my red-brown leather:

It is a very nice colour and as the name suggests, it is a redy brown colour.

I think I'd prefer it a little darker. But it does go well with space grey. And I find black too obvious.... hmmm...

Red-brown does look like coral red in photos, but in real life it is quite different. Coral red and saddle brown don't do it for me at all, but red-brown is a very nice colour, particularly with space grey.

i'd try and see it in person.

Alot of people have shite cameras and the red leathers all look very different. I saw fox red picture like it looked like Imola red and its nothing like it.

That's where it gets tricky. Can't find one anywhere near me. Makes me wonder how nice it can be if noone ever orders it (though I suppose the dealers probably play safe and order black for stock...)

Yes I did - I used 3M di noc carbon fibre vinyl.

The red-brown leather is similar to the fox red M3 leather, it is far less in your face then coral red.
