E90 bringing down the prices of E46?
With the arrival of the E90 sedan and the coupe next year, have the selling prices of the E46s gone down lately? I am thinking about buying a E46 convertible (can't afford to wait 2 years for the new model) and would like to know how much above invoice I would have to pay.
Any thoughts? Thx. |

Well I can tell you this, I was thinking about buying an E-46 330ci and all the dealerships that I went to had hardly any selection and they werent willing to deal on the price saying that I would have to pay invoice!! Maybe it was just my experience but paying invoice that is going to drop in value like a hot potatoe is not my thing... But I wish you the best of luck and hopefully you'll have better luck with it then I did.

I checked carsdirect.com but they are not quoting on 2005 3 series anymore.
Latest quote from local dealer is $1500 above invoice. I am going to try for $1000 above invoice. I was getting quotes of $1000 above invoice for the E90 so it shouldn't be too hard for the E46, right? |

I thought the exact same thing- w/ the new 3 series coming out. Im sure all the older models would be on sale. Nope, turns out to be the opposite in the coupes. I saw 330 Ci's for $39-43K. Thats why i ended up buying the E90.

I was in the dealership just last Thursday and they had a 2006 330ci with ZHP......listed at $64,800 CAD! That's about $4000 more than I paid for my '06 330i with SP and PP! Spoke to my sales rep and they weren't prepared to reduce the price as BMW Canada was not giving them any rebates (yet) on the car to get rid of them. I think as soon as January comes around, they may reduce the prices and get rid of all the '05s and make room for FULL stock of '06s.
