e92 coupe Offset?

I am thinking of going to go see John up at CCW wheels, because that is who built my one off set of race wheels for my modified 05 gto. I was wondering what a good offset would be if i were to go 19x8.5 and 19x10 in the rear. I want that aggresive look but not so much that the tire sticks out so far that it looks stupid. Any help would be appreciated.

Based on the e90's ZSP setup, a 10" rear rim with a +37-40 should work.

E90 OEM 19 front offset is 37 for a 8" Rim

Rear OEM 19" is a 39 offset for a 9" Rim

I am also getting the ccw for my e92. Please keep us posted on the offset.
I was leaning towards 19x8.5 front with 32mm and 19x10 rear with 28mm.

Thanks!

So the front offset that you mentioned should be fine right? And what about that 28 rear offset for a 10" wide wheel would it be more beneficial to run it with the 37mm offset or no. And obviously we will have to run some low pro tires to be able to stuff it all in back there.

Unless you are dropping the car really low, I think front is not a huge issue. I want my wheels to be completely flush with the fender. I believe 37mm should work fine in the back - it will stick in little more than the 28mm but it will probably be safer in terms of not rubbing with wider tires.

Has anyone actually tried 19x8.5 front with 32mm and 19x10 rear with 28mm for E92 coupe? I am seeing some posts that I should not go lower than 38 for 10" rim...

I don't know where anyone is running a 19x10 ET28 without rolling the fenders on a coupe? I have a et30 on a 9.5 and rub on deep bumps. I would suggest a et37 for sure with a 19x10. I also run 8.5 on the front with a et40, wouldn't go much lower there either.

NFS - thank you so much for the quick reply. What would you consider a good offset for front? Any recommendation on tire size? I was going to go with 275s in the rear.

40et for the front gives you room to lower it some without rubbing. I run 235/35/19 front and 265/30/19 rear. a 275 will give you a little more tire profile.

Vinobien - I am really curious myself. I won't be lowering mine but I will be getting similar wheel offset. My guess is that it won't rub since it's only protruding 1/2" from stock. Please keep us posted and post some picts!!

thanks

That's gonna be tight, please let me know how it turns out. Nice thing is that you have the option to go to a thinner spacer and be OK.

People, stop being so scared to run in the higher 20's in the rear with 10" width

19x10 offset 25 in rear

19x10 offset 20 in rear

19x9.5 offset 20 rear
