Angel Eyes as DRL

Do all 2010 335i 's have the Angel Eyes as DRL? Can this function be shut off. I am not a big fan of DRL, so I was wondering if it can be disabled?

I have a 2010 335d USA. This function can be enabled or disabled from the instrument cluster. I mention that my car is the USA model because in other country (like Canada), it cannot be disabled.

Just turn it "off auto" and they're off. You know the light switch to the left of your steering wheel?

If you have Idrive, that works too.

He's talking about the rings as DRL's, not the auto on feature for the headlights.

Right, and during the daytime when your lights are set on "auto" you have DLR angel eyes. Turn the switch to the "off" position (one more notch to the right), and bingo no angel eyes.

DRLs on my E90 stay on in all positions of the switch except for "on".

The headlight switch in the off position doesn't turn them off.

Yes, it does....

You e90 guys might be different, but that's not the case for e92's.

My 08 e92 has to have the DRLs shutoff from the DIC. It does not turn them off to turn the headlight switch.

Strange my 09 does.....Guess this just applies to 2009+ e92's. That or I'm loosing my mind. (I'll confirm tomorrow)

Anyways OP was talking about 2010's so he's fine. Plus if you have I-drive you can most certainly shut them off that way.
