E90 Update Interval
I tried to look for this info on the forums but couldn't find it so sorry if it's a repost.
Does anyone know what is the update interval for the new E90s, meaning, how often do they release patched up models (software, little engine issues, etc)? I'm just asking because I don't want to end up ordering the car in January and finding out a week later that there will be an update in February. Thanks! |

There isn't any set schedule as far as updates are concerned. They usually wait for a bunch of things before releasing a new CIP. But there are exceptions where certain issues need immediate attention and are released sooner. But I would go ahead and order your car and update it with the latest software when it lands.

Major changes only take place in March or September
Software changes happen every so often if there is a need for them ( not all CIP changes will have new E90 software ) Small parts changes can happen any time |

Do you think it's worth waiting till March for the next update? |
