Fender Rolling
I went to get my lip painted today. They're doing it for 200 including installation. They said if i used double-sided tape, the lip would become unattached if i were to scrape the bottom hard. is that true?
They also quoted me for spring installation a while back for $500 ... needless to say i did it somewhere else for 230. So thats 1 for 2. A reasonable price on the painted lip, but an attempted robbery for my spring install. Well, here's my question, they charged me $100 to roll two rear fenders. They say they dont have the roller tool and instead use hammers and blocks. They did have a jaguar with airbag drop on the premises and i felt the inner fender and it felt alright, not perfectly smooth like with a roller but smooth enough. Am i getting ripped off with the $100 dollar price tag for 2 fenders. I read somewhere that it should be around 25$ each per fender. But i wanted anyone's personal opinion, cuz everything is relatively cheaper in cali, and this is in NY.
