335i Wheel weight question

Just want to say hi, new to the site and just had a quick question. Used search but couldnt find anything. I ordered a 335i sedan with sports, prem, cold package and was wondering the weight on the wheels. I belive these are the specs taken from bmw usa.

" Star Spoke (Styling# 162) light-alloy wheels, 18 x 8.0 front, 18x 8.5 rear; 225/40R-18 front, 255/35R-18 rear run-flat "

Also wanted to know if anyone was running any lighter weight wheels, I know that OZ and BBS make some good light weight wheels. If so which ones you have and what tires you have on them.

thanks

I'm rocking SSR GT7's with NON-RFT's that shaved 15-20 lbs per corner over stock:

The run-flat tires tend to be heavy. You'll save some weight just by replacing the tires.

Ah thanks alot guys. Didnt think the sports package wheels were so light compared to other wheels from stock sports packages.

Would it be cost effective to drop around 3k-4k on a pair of rims and tires to shave off around 20lbs? Or would the stock sports wheels would do? I was trying to look for aftermarket suspension for the 335 and saw there was none, since the car is new. But a friend of mine said the 330i aftermarket suspension should work also. I dont know if this is true or not and dont wanna buy anything without knowing a little bit more.

The more and more Im doing research on the sports 335 package it seems bmw has done a really good job marketing this car with perm. parts ect, because it seems more cost effective just to upgrade engine work and lsd if it ever comes out.

That would be money well spent in my opinion
