V3's have more dampening adjustability. You can adjust the height and rebound on the V2. The V2's are plenty good for street driving, although sway bars made the biggest improvement in my e90's handling.

 Bilsteins are made in Germany, too.
Bilsteins are more comfortable and WAY easier to adjust. The V3's require you to remove the rear shocks to adjust. The Bilsteins have a knob under each shock that is easy to adjust! The V3's, however, go lower than the Bilstein. We recommend Bilstein and use it on one of our demo cars. For the best pricing on Bilstein visit www.JleviSW.com Thanks JL |

I'm fairly sure it's the same for V2 and V3. V2 Is basically a Koni Sport Yellow 8441, which is used on Ground Control, FK, KW, and Koni coilover kits The 8441 must be removed from the car and completely compressed, then turned for adjustment. I have them on my own car - it's a pain in the butt! In retrospect I wish I had purchased Bilstein. That's why we put Bilstein on our other employee's car

it depends
KW are probably more aggressive than the PSS9. the PSS9 is more road oriented kit. The KW can be but are more i guess harsh is what i am looking for. More harsh ride. PSS9(can be but you have to have them on setting 9) I think if i were you and i was going to track my car once an awhile i'd get the PSS9. If your car is mostly track (you go to more than 5 meets a year) you would perfer the KW. IMHO. I haven't heard too much about KW from buyers. But i know the company is def reputable. Good luck on your decision

You mean the "side carpet thing" in the trunk?

Good to see that the V3's improved over the V2's - because the V2's were a pain in the butt!
It's still a little inconvenient to remove the side carpet but not nearly as difficult. You're right though, PSS9's are better for daily drivers who want to be able to track the car, KW is better for the AutoX junkie! JL |

Now don't go confusing people man, I have V2's not V3's. The V2's are very easy to adjust it take all of 10 minuets to do all 4. As far as comfort I hope all of you know how much adjustability the KW's have. The lightest setting feels like a Cadillac (no joke) and just floats over bumps. The stiffest setting is unreal though, I had mine on the stiffest setting for a day and the suspension does not move when it hits a bump it's great for the track but just stupid stiff for road. Personally I think they are the most versatile Coilovers out there. I have mine set at around 6 in terms of stiffness and I get no complaints from picky passengers. Personally I like the ride to be a little stiff it's a BMW not a Lexus |

thanks everyone for your input, still a little undecided but leaning towards the Bilstein for some reason, it will definitely be more street car then track car
