information on maintenance plan and CPO

hey guys,

I bought my E90 330 a few months back. I just found out that my car has a Maintenance plan and CPO good through may of 2011. I called the BMW dealership close to home and they said that both the plan and CPO transferred with the car which means I am covered until 2011. I tried to get a feel for what all they covered and did not cover but they said that it depends on the condition and they can't tell me what is and is not covered until I bring the car in for servicing? I thought this was a little odd. The reason I am bringing this up is because I have a "differential" type noise whenever I push the clutch in (kinda like the notorious E46 rear diff bushings). I work at a European performance shop here in NC but if this warranty covers these sort of issues then it would be dumb to do it at my shop.

So... basically, can I bring my car in with mechanical issues and not be charged for it under the CPO or should I just do it myself at my shop?

That seems quite odd that they wouldn't give you that information. Here's what the CPO warranty covers straight from BMW.

If it is a differential type issue, it should be covered. Keep in mind, for CPO repairs, there is a $50 deductible per visit.

Thank you. I am headed to a dealership today to talk to someone about it.
