HELP! I need opinions!
I have the choice of either:
2010 335xi e90 w/Nav,CW,PP,M-sport,Sat,Ipod,smartphone,sport steering with paddles; black leather with aluminum trim 12k yr due at signing is $3,815 and $664.09 a month MF .00165 2011 335xi e90 w/Nav,CW,PP,M-sport,Ipod,Sport steering with paddles, sport steering with paddles; Harmon Kardon,Convenience package; black leather with possible glacier trim or aluminum??? 12k yr due at signing is about $3,800 and $760 a month MF .00257 ???? I currently have a 2008 328xi so either way its an upgrade but I'm still trying to figure out if the 2011 is worth the extra $100 a month. If i get the 2010 I'm going to have them them put in an alarm which is probably like $400 I dont know. If I get the 2011 I'm also going to have to extend my lease for 2 months which is another added cost. I want to know if there are any cosmetic changes because I don't even know what the differences are with the 2009 e90 vs 2010 e90. I really want LED angel eys but I dont know if the 2011 sedan gets them. Do you guys also suggest I get the tire and rim package since they both come with the 18" M wheels?? If you guys could shed some light on this matter I'd appreciate it because my lease is up April 11 and my dealer wants to finish it by the end of this month if I get the 2010 but I was thinking the money factor might go down again once April hits??? Guys tell me anything you know about the two years especially regarding and problems like is the 2010 HPFP issue fixed? Thanks guys I love this forum! |

The first one sounds like a much better deal. You get Sat. and it's $100 bucks cheaper a month. For $100 more you get the HK system and convenience package(I forgot what's in there, I recall Comfort Access, not sure what else). Comfort Access was important to me, but I am buying and plan on keeping my 328xi for a good 7-8 years at least, so you have to determine if that's an important feature.

If you like audio
A lot of people are very upset with the new base stereo it has no amp , less speakers and other issues. I think its about 15 watts per channel.

I don't want to be to negative but what I get from this is you want the sport seats and anything but the base stereo. Some where in this long thread I have a link to the actual specs on the stereo previously offered and I thing the stock 06 to 09 is 25 peak per channel for the doors and 40 for each sub woofer. The link is on page 8 Last edited by ctuna; 03-14-2010 at 09:43 PM.. |

I like the second choice.
+1 - Convenience package +1 - Harmon/Kardon Personally, I wouldn't want the Sat radio and I think both '10 and '11 come with HD radio, which is good enough for me. However, what does smartphone mean (or lack thereof in the second choice)? I could not live without bluetooth integration.
