Muffle Delete for e90 06 330i
Hey guys,
This is my first post, but an avid reader of everyone's post. You guys out there have some of the craziest looking Beemer's I have ever seen and I am an enthusiast trying to make my car look just half as good. I currently am going with the blackout theme (something I have always wanted to do). I have used the DIY's to do my grille...I have blacked out my tail lights and my side markers, and just tinted the windows. I have always wanted a rich sounding BMW and have heard about the muffler delete. I still have the maintenance plan left on my 330i, but I wanted to get some feedback from anybody about this. I also wanted to get an intake...so anyone, everyone, lend me your advice. Cheers! |

did you go with a completely new cold air intake, or did you drop in a new filter.
I would love to get a new intake, but was wondering if I drop in one of those afe oiled filters would make a difference. Any suggestions? |

I had my muffler delete for a few weeks and I'm going to put my stock muffler back on. I have this stupid whistle like sound that comes in at high acceleration.
I honestly think it's too loud. I feel like I'm back in my 94 rice rocket civic. I want more of an engine sound rather then drone. Come on.... this is suppose to be a BMW not a Honda. Also I'm 35 and I'm getting too old to be worried about cops. When I had my civic back in 1995 I would throw it in neutral when I would see a cop. I have gotten so many tickets for loud exhaust. I'm going to get the BMW Performance exhaust. If you want to get it then cool. The good thing is it's cheap and easily reversible.....if you save your stock muffler of course.
