My 328xi Coupe Space Gray

Hello all,

After a marvelous 4 days with her, I finished Zymol-ing the entire car, taking her for a nice drive and capturing some pictures before the next snow storm arrived. Enjoy!

BMW320i,

Thanks. That's 8 hours of washing, claying, stripping (HDCleanse), and waxing (2 coats of Zymol Carbon).

Obsessive? Yup! And proud of it.

The car I test drove was space gray, but I opt'd not to get it due to the fact that it already had a hundred miles on it and my advisor drove it like he stoled it. Long story short, someone cancelled on a jet black and now it's in my driveway

Sweet pics. Did you get the chrome exhaust tips with the car or did you get them yourself.

Haven't got the chrome tips on yet. Dealer has them on order, but I plan on putting them on.

My CA says installation is simple: "Slide them over, then hit it with a 2x4" board."
!!!

Will see how it goes.

Black looks great on the E92, just a bit harder to keep up with that perfectly shiny appearance.

I guess it was a big leap for me just going from TiAg to Space Gray.

Congrats and enjoy your E92.

Thx, beautiful! You finally got it!!!!! Love the color and the pics are stunning. Have you played with her in the snow yet? It looks like this big storm is going to miss us but hopefully there will be more.
Where did you take the pics?
What is Zymol?
How was Murray?

Very nice. I like how the lights in your headlight match the sunset.

Pdtar98,

Yup, she finally arrived. Whew, that was one long wait!

No chance of playing in the snow yet. Even when it's just drizzled rain the last few days I've kept her in... Guess I'm going to have to face street slush and water spots soon enough this winter, I just want to hold of a few more weeks and admire it in it's full glistening shine

Zymol is a detailing product line. All of their products are "natural." I like saying it's like applying products from The Body Shop for my car. The stuff smells like chocolate, honey, and such. The tire treatment is even shea butter oil.

Delivery went great. Everything was done just like I asked. Only upsetting thing was I found a large arching clear-coat scratch above the driver door handle... but I'm much to afraid to take it into the dealer for a fix, as I've heard they can mess things up more than it is. Still kind of tossing around what I should do about it.

Thats great! I'm happy to hear that everything went fine. The car is beautiful! You will enjoy her in the snow even with the dirt and the slush. The xi's are very impressive.

Thanks for the explanation of the zymol. I will have to look it up.

I've also been very happy with Murray. John my CA is great.

Enjoy her!
