e90 325i with cpo warranty

hello everyone.

As stated above, my original warranty is about to end and my cpo will now come into play. Can anyone advise what is covered and what is not to be specific? reason for asking is i want to have my options if i should take my car in the dealer or just go to a trusted mechanic for problems (minor or major).

If something was wrong in my car, i could probably have the dealer do an investigation first and have a quote on how much they charge and go to a trusted mechanic and compare prices? is this a good thing to do anyone?

Can i possibly take my car in to get checked before my original warranty expires? im not quite sure if the dealer will let me do this.

Please advise anyone. Looking for any info to be shared or any advise please. Thank you.

Just take it in before the 4 year/50K warranty expires. With the 325 I am in the same boat as you so I am taking it in next week before it expires. Which dealer are you using in San Fran?

bought the car in weatherford but go to service in san fran. last time i went to my the dealership, i asked them if i could bring my car in before the warranty expires and the guy said that they can't really check it if nothing is wrong with my car. So i'm assuming they won't really do anything with my car.
