Mechanics in the Area
I was wondering if anyone knows a trusted mechanic that can help install my mods in the Chicago area.
Please provide name of shop and contact info. Preferably pinoy, filipino or tagalog speaking  |

+1 on VS, when I was there I do not recall any pinoys. Finding a Flip mechanic who I would trust enough to install mods on Germans will be a tall order. Being half Flip I feel comfortable saying that most Flip mechanics I know are very good on the Japanese cars and mods but not so much on the Germans.

Do they do mod installs there or are they just "mod-friendly"?

andre is filipino and he can possibly "help" you in some of your installs and they seem to be mod friendly.

Hey we are always open, Monday - Friday 10am - 7pm just stop by we have an awesome tech as well as a fabricator, we also have our own Dynamics dyno in shop for tuning or if you even want to see how much power your car makes. We do a lot of high quality work, we also do maintenance work like brakes - oil changes. Right now we just got done swapping a S52 in to a 1986 BMW 325 which was turbo'd, the swap looks super clean. looks as if that engine came in the car. we are about to do another euro s52 into another e30 lol. The 135i that we had as our shop car was super quick we did all the bolt on mods you could get at that time and with our tune is made well over 400hp and tq, that car was super quick. when we took it out on the track we were lapping Lamborghini's that car was an awesome ride. so feel free to stop by and check out the shop.

+1 I would also recommend EC as well as VS. Both do good work.
Posting more because I didn't mean to dis EC....VS is just closer to home for me.

thank you community! i will take everyone for their word. I appreciate all the recommendations! A pinoy mechanic specializing in German cars is a tall order so I think i will go with all your suggestions!

One person you might try is Noel. He lives in Madison and goes by Darkcyd Turbo (metinks that is it). You'll find him on the WI thread if you wanna pm him.
He's in Madison but is filipino and is pretty handy from what I have read. If he can't do it he may know someone.
