help! ac not working!

Hi, I'm newly registered but look around for mod help and ideas.

I drove my 08 e90 today for the first time in a couple of days. Today was really hot, so I tried to turn on the AC but it's not working at all.

Could it be a blown fuse?
I'm not getting any error codes from my car, so I'm lost about what I should do.

My trunk light also doesn't light up when I open the lid, if that is in any way related.

Thanks in advance for the help!

The trunk light is definitly not related. I had an AC problem when my car was brand new. The compressor impeller failed and sent little pieces of plastic through the plumping damaging components along the way. The compressor and expansion valve were replaced under warrenty.

Hm, what i meant was that the actual ac/heat control panel doesn't turn on. None of the buttons worked.
The heated seats also don't work.
Any ideas?

Fuse or control module must have died. I'm not sure if one module controls the AC panel and heated seats though. Did it go out all at once?

Yeah, it went out all at once.
I'm inclined to say that the trunk light is related to this;
What happened was my friend decided to see what kind of bulb the trunk light used. He didn't take out the housing properly and the light just stopped working.
It's after this happened that the A/C and heated seat modules stopped turning on.

Anyway, could I fix this myself? I'd really rather not take it to anyone for this problem, especially if it were just a blown fuse.

Sounds like a fuse. I don't know where the fuse box is though.

Garage List
I believe the fuse box is in the back of the glove compartment. There is a little cover you remove to get to the fuses.

All right.

Does anyone know what fuse it is?
Also, is there anything different about BMW fuses or can I get them at a regular auto store?
