Seat Memory software

I took my car to get the seats, mirrors, lock memory, etc
to get programmed by the ServDept and I was told
that the E90 does not have it the software installed for
the seats (to get readusted when I use the remote to unlock it)
and they will let me know when they have the software
from BMW and I will just have to take the car back to
get it.

Is that the case? None of you have that feature yet?

Should be in the "personal profile" software in the "September" update

My car was shipped in July, and has this function. I have set it via iDrive to adjust when the door is opened. The seat positioning is based on which remote unlocke dthe car.

Same feature I had on my '01 330i.

my E90 doesnt have iDrive

That's weird. My seat memory works. I happen to use the other remote (to charge the battery) and when I plugged it in and started the car, my seat and mirrors adjusted to another setting which was not for my body height! When I switched back to my first remote, it adjusted everything back to my original setting.....

Yes, there seem to be some cars where it does work, it may be software and country specific.

But hopefully the september update will make it work for all cars

I have a question on this subject. I just got the car yesterday and trying to figure some little details out.

Lets say I have programmed seat at a certain position, following this i remove the key fob and move the seat to another position and then lock the doors. When I unlock the doors should the seat go back to personal setting?

p.s i've set idrive to resort the personal settings on unlock.

That's way suppose to work, but doesn't seem to be till Sept.?
I have Idrive & Nav. I can only get seats & mirrors to work...
manual by opening door & hitting memory 1. All goes back as should.
